Caitlin Hudac on her mobile approach to neurodevelopment research: “I can test the same exact brain measure, and the kids are just so much more relaxed when they’re sitting on their own couch with their dog at their feet."
It's not always easy for people to travel to Columbia to participate in research, so USC psychologist Caitlin Hudac is taking her lab on the road. She hopes to expand her work to understand more about the brain and conditions linked to autism. sc.edu/uofsc/posts/20…
The Brain Health Network is now serving patients at its new clinic in Orangeburg County, an area disproportionately affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. We are so proud of the positive impact USC Brain Health is making across the Palmetto State.
We’ve added a seventh star to our USC Brain Health Network map — Orangeburg! In collaboration with @HopeHealthInc, our expert staff now offer cognitive screening and assessment and help identifying critical community resources to residents in this high-needs area.
