From NURI to URRI: A legacy that grows 🌱 URRI builds on NURI (2018–2023), where 🇩🇰 supported rainwater dams, clean water springs & food forests in Uganda. #URRI carries this forward—boosting resilience, supporting refugee & host communities, and strengthening livelihoods 🤝

Visited Manza Unzi Farmer Group in Adjumani with @dkinuganda & @savethechildrenug — 30 farmers (28 women!) growing food & hope together 🌱 Now supported by #URRI to build resilience, self-reliance & equality through climate-smart agriculture & inclusive practices 💪🌾

In Adjumani, we met Beatrice together with farmers from the 'Manza Onzi' farmer group shared best practices the group learnt from NURRI this included climate smart practices and a functional Village Savings and Loans Association. @URRI_Danida

Together with @WorldVisionUg , @youth_sat and @R_I_Labs are lauching @URRI_Danida in Adjumani district. The 4 year programme funded by @DKinUganda will enhance resilience in refugee-hosting districts thru climate-smart agriculture, environmental restoration & gender equality.

Meeting farmer group of 30 refugee women part of @URRI_Danida🤝 Together they rent land, grow maize & beans for sale, jointly saving over UGX 2M as of now. All members have a say in what to plant & sell, & have access to loans. Combining climate-smart agriculture & 🚺empowerment!
