#AsiaPacific is home to 38 middle-income countries and 60% of the world’s population. At #HLPF, I emphasized that achieving the #SDGs means investing in people, advancing the green transition & expanding partnerships, including with emerging donors & private sector.




To leave no island behind, our monitoring & evaluation framework must be voluntary and based on existing systems. Crucially, implementation of the Antigua and Barbuda Agenda for SIDS #ABAS must be fully resourced. Let’s make it happen! 🏝️

Since Addis, @UNESCAP has led #AsiaPacific’s input to #FFD4, with 4 priorities: broaden & modernize tax bases, strengthen capacities & reform public budgets. Going forward, we are committed to supporting the follow-up process based on the outcomes of the #FFD4Sevilla.

By 2028, #Nepal aims to register every birth — 100% — as part of its national #CRVS strategy, an ambition as high as the Himalayas. @UNESCAP will support them every step of the way.
