UNYPA was started in 2003 to provide leadership and coordinate the greater and meaningful involvement of YPLHIV in UG. #Combat | #YPlusSummit25
The message hasn’t changed: Stigma fades when truth is loud. Know the facts about HIV and don’t let myths mislead your mind. #Combat
The message is still the same. Stigma should be fought with information. Know more about HIV don't allow myth to cloud your sense of judgement.
Monday always brings a unique energy, reminding us that our resilience shapes our decisions, thoughts, and ambitions. After your malaria check-up, the doctor confirms there is no malaria. "Should we take an HIV test?" the doctor asks. #Symposium25
You’re never walking this journey alone. As YPLHIV, we rise together, heal together, and win together.💪🏾💛 Feeling a little down? Don’t hesitate to slide into our DMs! We’re here to chat, share some laughs, or even shed a tear together if that's what you need. #Combat

Community stakeholders + grassroots NGOs = a powerhouse team championing youth participation and well-being in marginalized areas. 🎯Collaboration fuels real impact! #PowerToYoungPeople #CommunityChampions #REAF4SDG17 @KCCAUG

Let’s rewrite the story of HIV—together. #WeAreMNYPA
📍 Community vibes. From the dusty corners of our neighbourhoods to the hearts of our people. SRHR and HIV awareness aren’t a luxury, they’re a need. 💉 Know your HIV status. 🗣️ Share facts, not stigma. 🤝 Be the plug for your people. #Combat

I was born with HIV, but I don’t have a sad story. Many youth weren’t as lucky, but your status isn’t a limitation. That’s why I chose school. Religious leaders must speak the truth on SRHR to empower us. ~ @Mugabi_Moses_ #InterfaithDialogue25 #Combat
Early today, we joined the #InterFaithDialogue25 organised by @SRHRAllianceUg where faith met facts, and youth voices sparked truth. We talked about stigma, shared real struggles, and pushed for access to SRHR/HIV services that respect both faith and human rights. #Combat
This generation isn’t asking for perfection, it is asking for truth. For love. For leadership. For healing. And yes, asking for the religious institutions to show up. - @Mugabi_Moses_ #InterfaithDialogue25 #Faith4YouthHealth
@Mugabi_Moses_ from @UNYPA1 says,“I was lucky. My family empowered me. But many of my peers weren’t so fortunate.” His words remind us that grace isn’t meant to stop with us we are called to extend it to those who are suffering in silence. #InterfaithDialogue25 #Faith4YouthHealth
Growing up with HIV, stigma was my daily meal after my teacher learned about my status, and school became a battlefield. Now more than ever, we need collaboration to break barriers & rebuild parent-child bonds. ~ @jimboshanurah, National Miss Y+ #InterfaithDialogue25 #Combat

Magara Shadrack shares his heart, pain and journey from privilege to prison, from rejection to redemption and it’s a call to action for all of religious leaders in the faith community to do something about people who seek shelter after prison. #InterfaithDialogue25

The #AHFKitante wellness team officially flagged off the boda boda riders who will be championing awareness on STI screening and management, guiding more people to access FREE, confidential care at the Wellness Centre. #YourSexualHealthMatters #GetTested
At the National Interfaith dialogue, I emphasized the SRHR toolkit which religious leaders can use to create safe spaces, faith-sensitive approaches for youth to discuss SRHR challenges, for open dialogue while respecting religious values and human rights. #InterFaithDialogue25
To end #HIV/AIDS as a public health threat, we must focus on prevention, awareness, and support. This includes promoting safe sexual practices, improving access to testing & treatment, reducing stigma, & providing knowledge to protect against new infections. #EndAIDS2030Ug
Through these, we aim to translate evidence into action, to influence policy and practice, not just theory. #InterfaithDialogue25 #Faith4YouthHealth
@SRHRAllianceUg Country Director @Auntie_Olzz - One of our objectives here today is to address stigma and misconceptions that block young people from accessing SRHR services and HIV prevention. Myths and silence hurt. #EndStigma #InterfaithDialogue25 #Faith4YouthHealth
By the end of this dialogue, we are hopeful that these goals will not just be spoken but felt, seen, and acted on. Because this isn’t just about health. It’s about honoring humanity. #InterfaithDialogue25 #Faith4YouthHealth
#InterfaithDialogue25 Guest of Honor @mondokyateka - I’m a strong believer in the power of alliances especially when it comes to health and dignity. That’s why I showed up early this morning for this Dialogue I’ve learned faith leaders are very punctual! #Faith4YouthHealth
