Nearly 50 journalists participated in a sensitisation workshop on #fortified #rice, hosted by @FCSCAssam, @UNWFP_India, and @BrahFound_SRLP on July 23, to seek support in raising awareness about increasing the consumption of fortified rice to address malnutrition in #Assam.

To promote consumption of #fortified rice 🍚 & combat #malnutrition, a workshop in Guwahati brought together speakers from the state government, academia, agencies, & civil society under Pushti Pratham awareness 📢 campaign. @FCSCAssam, @WFP, @BrahFound_SRLP joined🤝for event.

The 2nd Technical Advisory Group meeting for the ENACT Assam project was recently held, with members appreciating updates on convergence & innovations, such as Climate Adaptation Info Centres, street plays & more, aimed at enhancing climate resilience among women farmers.

A consultation by @UNWFP_India & @FCSUPDept on diversifying the #PDS food basket with fortified wheat & other nutritious options was held on 11 July with participation from Depts. of Food, @basicshiksha_up, @icds_up, @FciLko & academia. @UPGovt @ShariquaY @ranvirprasad
