Last Friday- May 16th, we had an awesome time unwinding and reflecting on the 2024/2025 academic year- a great way to wrap up the spring semester, and look forward to a productive summer! #Chemistry #GradStudents #Unwind #productivite

In DFW and needing to earn college chemistry credits over the summer? UNT is offering 5-week in-person courses in Gen Chem, O-Chem, P-Chem, & Quantitative Analysis; online Gen Chem 1,2 and O-Chem 1; and more! See our Summer 2025 Chemistry Course Offerings: chemistry.unt.edu/undergraduate/…
Do you like working with students? The UNT Chemistry Department is hiring a Student & Program Coordinator to support our outstanding chemistry graduate program! See our Employment page for info and an application link: chemistry.unt.edu/open-positions…
It’s my great honor to receive the UNT University Distinguished Research Professorship!
Just wanted to share some memories from our last international games night - It was really a grand finale! Great times with amazing graduate students @UNTChemistry #International #Chemistry #GradStudents #CulturalHeritage
Join us today as we wrap up our international games night series. This time, we will be learning about cultures across the United States, and, of course, there'll be fun games, food, and music. #GradStudents #CulturalHeritage

A very inspiring seminar talk on computational catalyst design by Prof. Grabow @TheGrabowGroup @UNTChemistry
We are still recruiting participants for this study! If you are a chemist in industry, we want to talk to you about your experience. Please sign up using the information on the flyer or share this with others you know may be interested.
Are you a chemist currently working in industry? We are interested in hearing about your experience. Please see the flyer for more information, we would love to talk with you!
A great seminar lecture by Prof. Jing Li on flexible MOFs for the separation of liquid hydrocarbons! @UNTChemistry
And as the day winds down... Here's a quick peep into today in the history of chemistry! #Chemistry #NobelPriceWinner #VitaminC #Structure

Last Friday was awesome with our international games night 3.0 Chemistry Graduate Students @UNTChemistry had an amazing time with the African and the Caribbean cultures. #International #Chemistry #GradStudents #CulturalHeritage

It's that time again... Join us this Friday for an enjoyable and relaxing time with the African and Caribbean Cultures @UNTChemistry See details below. #Chemistry #International #GradStudents #CulturalHeritage

It’s great to have Prof. Jeff Long @LongLabCal as the Third “Linda Truitt Creagh Lectureship” awardee, and always enjoyed his fantastic and inspiring lecture on cooperative adsorption and gas separations in MOFs! @UNTChemistry
On this day - Feb 12 Chemist R.H. Wentorf in 1957 made Borazon, a material hard enough to scratch diamonds. It is created by heating equal quantities of Boron and Nitrogen at temperatures >1,800 °C. It is used to sharpen high-speed steel tools. #Research #Chemistry #Science

Very inspiring seminar lecture on electrifying CO2 into chemicals and fuels by Prof. Haotian Wang @wanght1990 @UNTChemistry
Huge congrats to @UNTChemistry Professor Francis D'Souza, 2025 winner of the UNT Foundation Eminent Faculty Award - UNT's highest honor for faculty!
Jonathan kicked off our 2025 Spring Chemistry Seminar series by giving the graduate students invited lecture on nano-FTIR @UNTChemistry
🎉 Welcome back, Chem Grad Students! We hope the break was rejuvenating. As we start a new semester, remember- every small step in your research is a step toward something great. You’ve got this💪 Let’s crush this semester together and make it a semester to remember!🚀 #GradLife

Unravel the chemistry behind Christmas trees with @ThamesValleyRSC in today's #adventcalendar 🎄🔬 @compoundchem
We had much fun last Friday playing the Loteria game and having delicious dishes from the Hispanic and Latin American culture. T'was our second graduate student international event. Thanks to @UNTChemistry for the continuous support. #graduatestudents #international #culture
