The last mentoring shout-out of the year goes to Sam Wolff, PhD. An alum of @uncneuro, Dr. Wolff is an Assistant Professor in the @purvislab, @UNC_GMB, and the UNC Computational Medicine Program. Of his many skills, Dr. Wolff is a patient and encouraging mentor.

Leading our last week of mentoring shout-outs is @GutsyScience, Assistant Professor @UNCDeptMedicine. Dr. Steinbach was nominated for being a role model and a dependable support for mentees.

To round out the week, we're honoring the mentorship of @mwolfganglab of @UNC_Micro_Imm and the Marsico Lung Institute. Dr. Wolfgang received a shout-out for coaching students through their projects and their career goals.

A big mentoring shout-out to Dr. Elizabeth Gurysh, Research Scientist in @DPMP_UNC. Her nominator wanted to celebrate how she shows mentees how to both do great science and fulfill personal goals.

A shout-out to Prof. @meradfor at UNC Pediatrics and DGS of @UNCCiTEM. Dr. Rebuli was nominated for her ability to be a calming support for mentees.

Today's mentoring shout-out is for Dr. Jeremy Cohen, Senior Research Scientist @uncneuro. His mentees appreciate his continued guidance through every stage of their projects.
