Prof Mbulelo Dyasi @PsDyasi expressed concern on behalf of people living with HIV, particularly amid PEPFAR funding cuts, at the #GlobalAIDSUpdate2025 launch. He said such a move could undo the progress made in South Africa, in reducing stigma and improving access to HIV care.
At the #GlobalAIDSUpdate launch, @NkomoNomantu shared Gauteng's HIV response progress: 94% know their status, 83% are on treatment, and 93% are virally suppressed. To accelerate this progress, Gauteng launched the 1.1 ART Gap campaign, aiming to reach 326 000 more people.
