It is with deep sadness that we have learned of the passing or our dear friend, G. Holmes Braddock. Holmes "slipped the surly bonds of Earth to touch the face of God" this morning, one day after celebrating his 100th birthday. Rest in Peace, Holmes. ❤️🧡💚

This Date in Hurricanes History: May 6, 1966... Miami pitcher Warren Bogle struck out 17 batters against Rollins, in a 7-0 rout over the Tars. Bogle’s performance helped him become the 1st Hurricane drafted in the MLB by the Kansas City Athletics in the 1968 MLB Draft.
