🖐️ Day 11 #12DaysOfParkinsonsResearch Drooling is a common symptom of #Parkinsons. The Cue Band study explores whether a smartwatch could help by reminding participants to swallow more frequently. This study is now complete so the results will hopefully be shared soon!

💊 Day 10: #12DaysOfParkinsonsResearch The @TheravanceBio CYPRESS study is investigating a new treatment, #ampreloxetine, for neurogenic orthostatic hypotension symptoms in Multiple System Atrophy. If successful, this treatment could improve quality of life for people with #MSA!

🧠 Day 9 #12DaysOfParkinsonsResearch Impulse control issues, like gambling or binge eating, are common in #Parkinsons. The Impulse Control study seeks to understand the brain mechanisms behind these challenges, paving the way for better treatments. nhs.uk/every-mind-mat…

👟 Day 7 #12DaysOfParkinsonsResearch The @getgaitQ study is looking at a wearable device designed to help people with movement disorders walk more effectively. It uses smart technology to monitor and improve gait, aiming to provide people with #Parkinsons a better quality of life
