Our #UCSDNeuroSurg Sub-I's had the opportunity to drill pedicle screws and perform a laminectomy during a spine lab at the Center for the Future of Surgery under the guidance of our Sub-I Director Dr. Martin Pham!

Great Sub-I rotation! #UCSDNeuroSurg Sub‑I’s delivered their talks on outcomes of robotic‑assisted interbody fusions in outpatients, minimally invasive parafascicular surgery for supratentorial intraventricular tumors and ICU systolic BP control in subdural hematoma patients.



Our Chair Dr. Alexander Khalessi met with researchers from Tohoku University to promote research and academic collaboration between our institutions and showed them how our specialty benefits from international collaboration through sharing ideas and expertise.

Blake McBeth (@UCSDMedSchool, MS1) presents his research titled “Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Mortality and Intracranial Hemorrhage in TBI Patients on Antithrombotics” at #UCSDNeuroSurg Research Day.
