Today, on World Refugee Day, the UCDVO-Eco Brixs volunteers visited one of @EcoBrixs Buy-Back Centres in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement in South Uganda, where Eco Brixs work to create green jobs and reduce plastic waste amongst the refugee communities here👏 @ucddublin

Our Paediatric Rehab and Nutrition Volunteers with @KisiiziPartners in Uganda. Our Physiotherapy volunteers will run a therapy programme for children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and our Nutrition Project will support the work of Kisiizi Hospital’s nutrition programme. @ucd_sphpss

The UCDVO Holy Union Health Project began last week -our ten volunteers have started working with our Tanzanian partner the Holy Union Sisters in the Matumaini Centre. A centre for children with disabilities offering rehabilitation, education, nutrition and livelihoods support.

The UCDVO-MOEI Education Project 2025 began this week in Siem Reap, Cambodia🌞 Our volunteers have been busy teacher training this week at Pannasastra University of Cambodia before beginning their 4-week teaching placement next week in three local community schools!

The UCDVO - @NurtureAfrica1 Project 2025 began this week in Nansana, Uganda 🇺🇬 Six UCD Physiotherapy students from @ucd_sphpss and their Team Coordinator will work with Nurture Africa to deliver a rehabilitation programme to children with disabilities in the community!

What another beautiful day! We had a great time with the UCD students, learning in class and then hitting the outdoors for some GAA practice. We're so grateful for the awesome work the UCD volunteers are doing here in Uganda!
