NG 993 Esso Terminal The £2.2M Esso Tynemouth Terminal was opened by Dame Irene Ward MP for Tynemouth on 10th October 1963. It had been operational since 1960. The site covered 47 acres and included storage tanks, pumping equipment, administrative buildings and warehouses.

Ashingtonian .... My Granda was from Bedlington and lived in Widdrington Station. My great aunts lived in Morpeth. I heard ⬇️ when I was a child so understand it and can "hear it" though don't pretend to speak it!
