Rob Thomson said Edmundo Sosa was “a lot better” than he expected when he checked on him. Brandon Marsh said he didn’t hear Sosa calling the ball. Marsh felt bad, but was relieved to find out Sosa was doing OK.

Phillies made a small move, acquiring outfielder Brewer Hicklen from the Detroit Tigers in exchange for cash considerations and optioning him to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
