At one point, I was seriously considering whether to try shifting careers to Lutheran school teacher. Then, after a call from district, I was temporarily suspended from teaching at my church over a tweet they didn't like. The last thing they want are genuinely Lutheran teachers.

For anyone tracking British influence on America, Franklin Roosevelt studied under Silas Marcus MacVane at Harvard. MacVane was a Canadian, taught European history as a struggle against monarchy and the church, and viewed Prussia as the greatest evil in the world.
