Utawarerumono, Utawarerumono The False Masks and, Utawarerumono Mask of Truth. These are one of my all time favorite because of the storytelling, adapted from a series of 3 JRPGs/Visual Novels I deeply enjoyed. The protagonist of the second is definitely the best. 🙌
What's your favorite hidden gem anime that never got the attention it deserved?
Imma keep it real with y'all: It's Air Gear I could name several other series from the 2000s that are considered "hidden gem" but if I had to name one besides the obvious ones (Reborn!, D.Gray-Man, Eyeshield 21) — It's gotta be Air Gear Haven't heard of it? Now you do! Read it!
