One of my clients in the past 30 days has had: • 10 coaches reach out with heavy interest • A conversation with a D1 Head Coach • Multiple D1 coaches stopping by his school Without: • Any stars • Crazy stats • A super fast 40 time Here’s how we did it step-by-step:
If you don’t have any offers yet it’s because of 1 of 4 reasons:
Recruiting isn’t just about talent. If you’re not posting here on X, you’re invisible to coaches. 1-2 posts a week can separate you from 90% of athletes. Film. Workouts. Training clips. Build your presence, or get left behind.
Don’t just aim for D1 schools. Focus on finding the right fit.
What I wish I'd known earlier: Stars are marketing tools, not recruiting requirements. Coaches recruit who they know, not who they should know. Self-advocacy beats waiting for others.
Most parents think coaches will find their kid if they're good enough. DEAD WRONG. Here's the aggressive recruiting system I've used to get athletes multiple scholarship offers:
Everyone’s path is different. For me, I barely played in high school. Went JUCO. Had to go through COVID. Spent 2.5 years in JUCO. Then ended up at my 4-year. Yours will be drastically different than mine. And that’s okay.
If a college coach has talked to you before it means they are interested. It doesn't mean they will offer you. And they can also forget about you. Your goal is make sure they don't forget about you.
Recruiting is all about 1. Finding the 1 coach who believes in you. The 1 school that is the perfect fit. It takes a lot of work and patience to find that 1. But if you put in the time you will find the right fit.
