Mon 28th July sees the start of the 2025MCCF Under 12s Competition with 12 sides participating over the 5 Days of 90over cricket. Spectators are welcome with matches commencing at 11am (Fri 1st at 10am). Royal Hospital School, Suffolk’s post code is IP9 2RX Here are the fixture

Eureka eureka - I wonder who else has been harping on for years about 7 or 8 weeks of perpetual 4 day games on the bounce. Todays game is almost a different sport to the 60s 70s & 80s! Bowlers are atheletes today, so too, are props & 2nd Rows!
Sorry James you are TOTALLY WRONG here. 7 intense four day games on flat pitches - some with kookaburra balls. It’s insane. The bowlers are in their knees. If you want top class competition you HAVE to spread the games out more. End of story. The 1980s (when I played) are…
