BREAKING NEWS: Ruben Kimome alias Makubebe has been declared the winner of Kabarole District LC5 chairperson race in the NRM Primaries. Kimome garnered 17,703 votes representing 40.9% followed by Mugabe Wilfred who got 14,331, representing 33.1% of the total votes cast.


In Kabarole, Ruben Kimome is in an early lead based on results received so far.

THE RETURN OF RWABUHINGA! The Kabarole LCV Chairperson, Richard Rwabuhinga, who was defeated by Joseph Mugenyi in the Burahya parliamentary race, has told journalists he is returning as an independent in the general elections, claiming he was cheated.

Supporters of Muhenda Ronald alias Omusoromi are rioting outside the NRM offices in Fort Portal, claiming their candidate was cheated in the primaries in Central Division. Muhenda got 3,309 votes and was second in the race of 6 while Alex Ruhunda, the incumbent, won with 4,796.
