Thinking about how much of the world is built on some people making money while others deal with the inconvenience. If there was a system where people had to pay back the inconvenience they caused, businesses would owe a lot. It seems unfair how normal this all feels.
Nuclear deterrence theory assumes rational actors. But having someone like Trump in charge shows how fragile that assumption is.
