Sand integration is important with summertime cultivations. Depending on the desired depth, this can occur through various methods. @EhrhartJoel at Lakewood National integrates a standard 5/8" core followed by a series of sand topdressings and 3/4" solid-tine aeration.

Dragonfruit have such impressive flowers and such a shame that they only flower for one night. Most are not self-fertile and require a pollinator (me) to collect pollen from different varieties and then pollinate them the one night that they open up. It's a fun hobby.
