There was huge support at Moray Leisure Centre today for the ice rink threatened with closure. I’ve spoke to users of the facility and will be meeting with management tomorrow. I hope a solution can be found to secure the ice rink’s future.

Earlier this week I saw for myself the devastation caused by the recent wildfires in Moray. I’ll be raising questions in Parliament about what can be done to tackle this serious issue that threatens people, wildlife and communities.

I have been concerned by the wildfires across the Highlands and Moray since the weekend. I want to praise the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service and the many gamekeepers who have bravely fought to control these fires. Now, @scotgov has to act and invest in wildfire prevention.

Seagulls are a growing problem across Scotland. People are being attacked, businesses impacted and councils having to shell out a fortune. The SNP and NatureScot need to buck up their ideas and deliver a licensing scheme that actually works.

I am grateful everyday for the dedication and sacrifice that our armed forces personnel give to keep us safe. I am privileged to represent so many members of our armed forces, including those based at RAF Lossiemouth. I thank those who serve and have served. #ArmedForcesDay

Robbie Moore comes from a farming background and has done far more to oppose Labour’s Family Farm Tax than anyone in Reform UK. Playing the man and not the ball tells us all we need to know about Reform and their brand of politics.

🏠 Scotland has a housing crisis because the Scottish Government isn’t building enough houses. 🙅🏽‍♂️ It’s not the fault of our excellent self-catering businesses, many of whom were represented outside Parliament yesterday. ❌ The government should stop using them as scapegoats.

Local businesses are worried about the introduction of the visitor levy - but the SNP don’t want to hear it.
