What is an effective evangelism resource you use at your church?
God didn’t just send a message; He sent His Son. Jesus came in the flesh, walked dusty roads, touched lepers, and shared meals. He didn’t disciple from a distance. He discipled in person. And He commissioned His followers to do the same - life on life, shoulder to shoulder.
A healthy church doesn’t compete with Netflix. It offers what Netflix can’t. Presence. Prayer. Peace. The people of God gathered together, not for consumption, but for communion - with Christ and with one another.
Some churches have forgotten that most evangelism is personal. They have grown so comfortable producing content that they’ve stopped producing disciples to share their faith. They let livestreams replace lunch invitations.
I have so many words right now about Jennifer. They can wait. Today we sang “Holy, Holy, Holy” in worship service. I cried because I saw Jennifer fully loved, never threatened, and totally embraced. That’s what really matters. baptistnews.com/article/jennif…
Congratulations to Larry Teasley (Alabama) on becoming a Certified Church Consultant!

Somewhere along the way, many of our churches became obsessed with polish. Perfect lighting. Flawless sound. Seamless transitions. We rehearsed away the rawness. And while there’s nothing wrong with excellence, there is something deeply human about letting go of perfection.
Checking on my wife, Nellie Jo, since I’ve been gone nine days. “Oh, I am absolutely fine. I have the granddog.” #usurpedbyacanine

The church is not anti-technology, but it is radically pro-embodiment. Gathering matters. Presence matters. In-person and personal matters.
Too often a church becomes more concerned about protecting what it has than pursuing what God might do next.
Church revitalization without evangelism is just rearranging the furniture in a house no one’s entering.
