Today's huge and fast prominence, only 15 minutes between each of those images! 馃槑 The Earth at scale on the left 馃槻

Today's partial eclipse from Paris in Halpha and calcium K 馃槑

Vivid and colorful northern lights on Jan 27 from Skibotn, Norway 馃ぉ Coming soon: the breathtaking show of Feb 1st, thanks to a huge coronal hole 馃槉 Sigma fp-mod & 14mm 1.8 Art

I did not want to miss Saturday's occultation of Saturn, it was the last one until 2031! So I traveled to Tarragona, Spain 馃槉 The star besides Saturn is 85 Aquarius (mag 6.7) C8 Edge HD & ASI178MC

I got Bronze medal at the 24/25 German Photo Book Prize! 馃ぉ <<This award recognizes the exemplary photographic quality of the award-winning work >> Many thanks to dpunkt Verlag 馃 Or course, the original French 4th edition is also available in all bookstores! 馃槈

My very last shot of Tsuchinshan-ATLAS from Gran Canaria last night...before going back to France! 馃 Sigma fp mod & 20mm 1.4 Art DG DN, 15s @f/2

My last shot of Tsuchinshan-ATLAS on Thursday from Maspalomas dunes (Gran Canaria), with a view of the lighthouse 馃槉 It's amazing to see how fast the comet moved away from Earth, just three days after my Monday shot in La Palma! 馃槻

Tsuchishan-ATLAS tonight with its tail and anti-tail over the huge Magic telescopes at La Palma observatory, Canary islands 馃槉 Sigma fp & 20mm 1.4 DG DN

Giant X4.5-class flare in AR3825 today! 馃槏 Just 15 minutes before this image, the flare ejected matter visible on the left at very high speed: 400 km/s! The Earth at scale in the corner 馃檪

Magnificent prominences today including huge loops! 馃槑 The Earth at scale on top 馃槷

The Moon, Saturn...and the ISS! 馃槑 After the May 31 occultation from Argentina, I wanted something more challenging! 馃榿 I decided to install my telescope in Spain, in a precise place near the Almendra dam in Castilla&Leon to catch the ISS just 30 min after the occultation 馃槣

One of the biggest sunspots of the solar cycle faces Earth today! 馃槑 Several groups are able to host powerful eruptions that could generate geomagnetic storms and auroras in the days to come 馃槏

A large sunspot group and the solar granulation in high resolution with C14 EdgeHD and Astrolar photo sheet 馃槑 Each granulation cell is approximately 1000 km wide and lives only a few minutes.

A lot of sunspots today! 馃槑 The Earth at scale in the corner 馃槷 FSQ-106 refractor on AM-5, ASI183MM, H-alpha and Calcium filters

Exceptional eruptive protuberance today! 馃槏 It exploded within minutes and I had the luck to capture several moments between clouds above Paris 馃槑 Earth to scale at left edge of frame 馃槸 Coronado SM90 DS, Taka FSQ-106 on ZWO AM-5, ASI183MM

Impressive solar activity today: many sunspot groups, a huge prominence (dark filament over the disk) and above all outstanding eruptive loops materializing the solar magnetic fields! 馃槑 The Earth at scale on the left edge 馃槄

The May 31 occultation of Saturn from NE Argentina: genuine, as visible through the C8. No photomontage, no AI! 馃槉 The turbulence was high but the sky was clear to show Saturn partly disappearing behind the dark part of the Moon (grazing occultation) Image 2/2: during occultation

This huge sunspot group generated many eruptions, causing the historical auroras visible from many places on Earth on May 10 馃槑 The Earth at scale at the right edge, near the giant prominence 馃槄
