anime podcast they\them Get it? Cuz there's 2 of us?
My lawyer has advised me to stop making death threats against TEMU call center employees and tell you that the latest episode of the podcast is out. We talk a lot about Takopi's Original Sin, the most traumatic anime of the season. Probably of the year. Possibly of the decade.

This is the kind of thing Orb: On the Movements of the Earth was trying to warn us about.
In light of the newly passed Online Safety bill in th UK, I wanted to say that banning porn is good actually.
Visa and Mastercard have removed a lot of NSFW content from Steam and Itchio recently, but you might not know it is actually part of a campaign that has been going on for decades. Here's how anti-porn groups got the power to censor the internet
Man, it sure would be awful if a website dedicated to adult content required people's identities to access it. Certainly information about what porn people consume, particularly women, being leaked to the public will never put anyone in danger.
The drivers licenses leaked today from the tea app have been uploaded to a searchable map.... this may be the worst PII leak I've ever seen lol
Btw I'd be giving the side-eye to anyone vehemently complaining about "e-thots" on Twitch or whatever going forward.
I get that most politicians are high functioning psychopaths that are utterly incapable of forming emotional bonds with other people, but this feels like a very mask-off "I resent my kids and don't want to parent them" moment.
Well done to everyone who campaigned to ensure age verification for pornography was in the Online Safety Act! Today it comes into force and while no doubt there will be some who get around it, it means young kids in particular won’t be stumbling on violent and harmful porn.
It's good that people who got into anime after covid are rediscovering the rage bait classics you know and love

remember, to the right, pornography is inherently transgender
PC Gamer's taking another swing at Collective Shout this time over the itch.io hit. Meanwhile, Patricia Hernandez is discussing efforts being brought up against Collective Shout. I'll link to that one below, as I feel that may be better to share
Her stuff always reminds me of this bit from the music video for Danny Brown's "Ain't It Funny"
she has not seen a second of peace😭
I do get the sense that this is not something itchio is particularly happy about either. The fact of the matter is that complaining online and boycotting is not enough. People need to organize and start lobbying for policies that ensure stuff like this cannot continue to happen.
Next they're going to requisition money and property from the people who made those games, just you wait.
itch.io/updates/update…
Glad they are explicit about Collective Shout harassing them

For the past decade, no faction has advocated for total artistic freedom. The right shrieked against "woke grooming", the left against anything "problematic", normies against "gooning". And now they're all blaming each other.

new twitter psyop just dropped, I guess rent is due next week
