What color is the #sun? Depends. Too faint/bright to directly observe the Sun's blazing light, this composite image shows X-rays (blue, green), and ultraviolet in red. Blue are hotspots caused by nanoflares - the hottest material present in the Sun's atmosphere. #Space #NASA

Bad news...Japan's #Resilience spacecraft made a hard landing (crashed) on the #Moon's Mare Frigoris near-side region. The laser rangefinder had delays while measuring the probe's distance to the surface, so the probe was unable to decelerate. #sad #space #SoClose #BadaBOOM
