Love all the #artvsartist pics I've been seeing today. Did a quick one with some of my Sonic and Sega animations. The cropping makes it hard to see some of it though. :P
Added the backgrounds to the scene I posted earlier. Not the most accurate of backgrounds, but I rather not nitpick and move on to the next scene. Up next I'll have him enter the underground ruins below.

For the next scene I'm having Sonic jump around the ruins of Marble Zone. The limbo slide is based on April from Rise of the TMNT doing it, though it's in a slightly different camera angle. Just thought it would be neat to see Sonic pull it off. Will do the background later.🫠
Added the background, shadows on the ground, and panned the camera from left to right. Think that's it for this scene. Up next I got a few running shots to do.

Finished adding the badniks. Also made Sonic do a little wave just for fun. Up next I'll work on the background.
Animated this today, Sonic will be fighting some Caterkillers, the balls are where the badniks will be. Was not originally planning on Sonic doing a shoryuken but here we are, lol.🤣

Another scene down. I couldn't get the asset warp tool working for me on the wall(wanted to have a fish eye lense look); so instead I just did some scaling and rotations on it. It doesn't look as good as I originally wanted but hey, whatever works. Can't worry about every detail.
Today's progress. Sonic will be hitting a badnik. The impact frames feel a little off, perhaps I'll tweak them when adding the badnik. The background is going to be an interesting challenge due to the angle of the floor. Perhaps Animate's asset warp tool might come in handy.
Some more progress on the Sonic Animated Marble Zone episode. Not use to animating fire or lava so I just kind of winged it with Adobe Animate's asset warp tools, glow filters and blurs.

Back to the kitchen to cook up another dish! (WIP)
Tried running the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator and Animate on the Steam Deck(Linux). Illustrator's UI is messed up but WineHQ says there is a patch to fix it.(No clue how to apply it). Animate has a few kinks too. Still neat to see how close they are to running properly.
