Your brain corrects for the illusion of mass and focus, preferring what looks optically centered rather than what’s mathematically centered. This is “optical alignment" That’s why the left image “feels” right, and the right “feels” wrong even though it’s actually the opposite.

Automating simple, everyday jobs that give people purpose and a livelihood isn’t the flex we think it is. We keep framing the removal of human roles as "progress", but at some point we have to ask: Is a future with less interaction and more disconnection really worth chasing?

Sometimes it takes a rainy evening to realize, we spend so much time chasing clarity, we forget there’s beauty in the blur.
It wasn’t real. But someone made it real, just so others wouldn’t walk away let down. That’s kind of beautiful.
