Thank you Glenn Liebman and Nathan McLaughlin for raising awareness about the need for Governor Hochul to sign the CI bill on PTSD Awareness Day. pressconnects.com/story/opinion/…
State troopers are overworked, burned out and demoralized. Albany must address the recruitment and retention crisis that is putting troopers at risk and in an untenable position. Read our full op-ed in today's @timesunion here: timesunion.com/opinion/articl…
Troopers Dominick J. Mignoli & Shane M. Marshall of SP Stormville exemplify the commitment and service of all our members, who show up daily to protect all NYers. @slater4ny personally thanked them for their quick response & compassion during a recent roadside medical emergency

Thanks to @SenatorCooney for joining us in Rochester to call on @KathyHochul to prioritize troopers' mental health by signing the nation-leading critical incident bill ASAP, and to @PatBurke142 for ensuring this important bill passed quickly this session. spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/central-ny…
The NYSTPBA is proud to see New York taking real steps to care for those who protect us. Let’s hope this signals a broader shift toward positive mental health support for our first responders. ow.ly/VECZ50WnKBh

“Senior Investigator Carey was a dedicated member of the New York State Police, and his passing is a reflection of the relentless bravery and unimaginable sacrifice that defines both a public servant and a hero.” - @GovKathyHochul #RIP tinyurl.com/2mfue497
Our thoughts and prayers are with Chief Technical Sgt. David Turner and his family after the passing of his K9 partner, K9 Lane. K9 Lane passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. He was a great asset to the NYSP K9 unit. Rest easy K9 Lane, we got it from here.

We have sold out in 24 hours! Due to the popularity of this event, we will be making this an annual event. Stay tuned for more information.

The NYSTPBA delegates came together to honor New York State Police First Deputy Superintendent, Christopher West, and NYSTPBA Chaplain, Rabbi Abe Friedman, for their continued dedication to the State Police and its members. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

Always great to see @NYSComptroller Tom DiNapoli!
Good catching up with Charlie Murphy and Andy Davis with the NYS Troopers @ThePBA. Our troopers do amazing work, often under difficult circumstances. Thank you!
Today’s shooting of a NY State Trooper during a traffic stop in Duanesburg demonstrates the danger faced by our members every day. We are thankful that Trooper Richard Albert, who was shot by a suspect during this incident, is expected to recover from his injuries.
The SBA remembers Det. First Grade Steven McDonald, who was rendered quadriplegic after a 1986 shooting but went on to become a universal symbol of faith and forgiveness until his passing on 1/10/2017. We owe him a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.
The wheels of Justice turn slowly, but #BlueFamily hero Irene Tsakos won’t stop fighting for her husband. We won’t stop, either. PBA @NYPDHighway reps were in court again today to support her through another appearance by the drunk & high driver who killed her husband.
