The question is not whether VShojo is insolvent but how fast they will publically admit it and seek out bankruptcy protections.
Overall, @ksononair's stream shows US VShojo leadership aiming for bankruptcy as a solution to discharge unpaid payments to the talents as independent contractors. Now is the BEST time for VTubing industry to challenge this insanity and establish that VTubers are true employees
Another note from @ksononair's stream - regarding staff being paid first, they HAD to pay the staff due to clear labor law violations if they didn't pay full time staff. They are banking on the ambiguity of VShojo talent as independent contractors to shaft them out of payment.
Listening to @ksononair - VShojo's JP "branch" may have been financially performing, but this is purely an internal distinction (US v. JP), fully within the control of the US headquarters. While this may remove the JP CEO from liability, it in no way absolves VShojo as a whole
They may need to do the cycling from inside prison.

For the record, yes, I have read (and in my posession) a full VShojo contract. And there is nothing in it that is going to protect them from being absolutely slammed legally
