The Lapsed Fan
@TheLapsedFan
The Lapsed Fan podcast dives deeply into wrestling's past. Half class, half crass. Freeloaders always welcome, never catered to. Get it long and hard. #lapsed
The latest Lapsed takes us to the fateful day Hulk Hogan made the jump to WCW, at WCW Bash at the Beach 1994. Join us as we ride the wave from Hogan’s messy WWF departure and Japan flirtations, to his sputtering acting career, to teasing HBO, to testifying against Vince, to…

@TheLapsedFan I see the WCW channel on YouTube has just put Bash at the Beach ‘94 up. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
@TheLapsedFan More lapsed serendipity is that I started the back catalog again about a month ago, and landed on Tuesday in Texas last night, with alot of eerie themes of the death of Hulkamania and his funeral.
It's a wrestling day so obviously I checked on @TheLapsedFan They were in the middle of Bash at the Beach '94 and even alluded to "what will we do when Hulk is gone?" That was harsh. Props to Jack & JP for doing what none of us could with a balance of humor and reverence
TNH is THE masterpiece of all the masterpieces you gentlemen have created. I think it’s weekly that debate about taking that journey again!
Even watching along, this was rough. Half an hour felt like an hour etc. Gonna have to go back to Almighty Thor cos it’s been a while to decide but I legit think Timemaster may be worse

Aint nobody got time for that. Sleep in and go to the @TheLapsedFan show in Manhattan the next day at noon
This is a must listen podcast series.
RIP Hulk Hogan. Our sprawling TNH ("Total Nonstop Hogan") journey crystalized why people are conflicted about the man, and how the Hulkster (or was it Terry Bollea?) managed to pull the nose up just as it all came crashing down and began to hurt inside. It is in his TNA…
I just started the TNH journey (for my second time) last week. I think it made me double-(bizz)-ly shocked.
greatest podcast series I have ever listened to and it does not come close. one of the pieces of culture I will remember the most about this decade.

I have been listening to you guys since 2016. Somehow someway, I never listened to this journey, I literally started it while waiting for bash at the beach pt 3. Not better time than now. Can’t help but think how hulk being gone, can change the perspective of this whole cast.
Amid the news of losing the Hulkster yesterday, just wanted to shout out @TheLapsedFan for my favorite non-canon Hulk Hogan quote of all time 😂
Without a doubt… the best series of podcasts ever

I'd just finished this journey (again) last week and it's "no doubt" some of the best work you all ever did.

During our Bash at the Beach 94 show, you may have heard a passing reference to a movie Gene Okerlund and Bobby Heenan were filming at the time. To tirelessly run down any hint like this is why UNDER THE CINEMAT exists. Presenting TIMEMASTER (1995), a true piece of shit with a…
