Starting off the morning with some Ben Nichols before jumping back into Black Sabbath. 11/19 albums down.
I think my favorite albums from Friday's releases are from Cody Jinks and Ben Nichols. Beyond phenomenal and exactly what I was hoping for from them.
Regardless of any opinions on the new one from Tyler Childers, I really love how the vinyl experience turned out. I believe it was Erik Thor Sandberg who did the work. Beautifully done.
Everyone is fine to have their opinion but I HAVE to disagree here. Damn. Sound & Fury is a hammer.

Not sure I agree with this completely. I think fair criticisms exist of Tyler Childers w/out being hate or meaning they only like 1 or 2 albums. I feel like both polarized camps are a little too excited. The album was ok/good for me. Not great. Idk 🤷♂️
They aren’t Tyler Childers fans. They’re just fans of Purgatory. It’s that simple, y’all.

Advice to Reviewers: Don’t like the album? That’s okay! You don’t have to review it! Or, try to find the reason that it was put out. What might others get out of it? What is the one thing that people will cling to or come back to. Or, be an asshole. It’s always your choice.
Sometimes a song comes along that causes me to have a spiritual experience. Jesse Welles has it in spades, man. 🙏
