Alberta & nest #2 fledgling #1 are roaming the lawn hoovering up the crumbs from the bird feeder The Mini-Bert has dad traits. When he/she sees a big crumb (fledglings look the same at this point) there is a distinct bouncing motion at the excitement of finding it Still no Bert

I take comfort from the fact that I can hear no male blackbirds singing in the morning Bert was part of the blackbird network, and I could hear up to six at any one time singing to each other They are not all missing surely, they are going through moulting. Hopefully
