VCU’s Jack Clark will join the Philadelphia 76ers for NBA Summer League, I’m told. The versatile 6’10” wing averaged 9.7 PTS, 6.9 REB, 2.0 AST with a 60.6 TS% for the Rams this season, stepping up in March to earn A-10 Tournament MVP honors.
We don’t talk enough about how the 1989-90 La Salle team was one of the best mid-major teams of all-time. They had three NBA players, finished 12th in the AP Poll, went into the tournament 30-1, and won 21 of those by double digits (13 of 14). Speedy Morris is a LEGEND.
