Honestly, I’m baffled by how anyone could possibly think that The Fantastic Four is bad. It’s genuinely one of the best comic book movies of our time. So much love poured into the characters and design. Y’all are so miserable

truly the core of why i liked fantastic four is that it felt so antithetical to the mcu. the outlier behavior to actually care about the source material, treat it with respect & not make huge changes for the sake of convenience. only other guy on that level here is ryan coogler

Vanessa Kirby is one of the best female led CBM casts. Sue was warm, assertive, strong and vulnerable at the same time and Kirby ‘s charm really blended that so well

re; melkinov discourse he’s right. in a medium like comics (and animation too, honestly), you need to do the character design as one of the first, if not the first process. it’s a visual medium, and one that has tight deadlines.

#ReleaseTheShakmanCut feels entirely ingenuine when you consider matt has expressed that he is proud of this movie and that it’s a deeply personal project to him. i understand wanting more, but let’s maybe not be weird when the director is already satisfied with his work

We really need to have a conversation about how little happens in comic issues nowadays, like it feels like the book has barely gotten started because of how decompressed it is.

#TheFantasticFour : First Steps is one of the greatest comic book movies I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching at the movie theater. Crafting this new installment in the MCU with such gravitas and a love for these characters that bleeds right through the silver screen, (1/9)

My favorite sequence in the film, not just because of the clear INTERSTELLAR influences. I appreciated how every action scene constantly threw new complications at the characters. It made the stakes feel more heightened.
