Excited to announce that we’ve raised $4.1m, led by @neo & @DCM_VC, and supported by @UnshackledVC, @WorklifeVC, @firsthandvc, @pageonevc, @jthandy, @chrisprucha, @sdoow for TextQL, the Enterprise AI Data Analyst that empowers business teams to execute data driven operations…

crazy how much you shit the zeitgeist with ai-generated thought leadership, written by ai singularity already here
The AI boom makes a lot more sense if you view 90% of companies as marketing wrappers for existing tech. This bothers people like me more than it should because I remember when 90% of the companies were pure tech with nerds doing their best to also sell
asked claude code which one i should deploy on - i guess i have no ability to assess this and i'll just take its word for it

same reason huawei / intel would offer insane salaries for tsmc people it's a space where the best algo > second best algo by a lot - and marginal improvements compound hard these aren't recurring costs - meta's making a short term personel investment to catch up
Can someone explain why zuck is willing to fork over $1 billion to hire a single AI engineer? What does zuck know that we don't?
.@JustJake can you pls make it not hang bc claude code just does this repeatedly and gets stuck and it makes me very sad - i'm just a dumb non-technical vibe coder T_T i'll pay you more money

man will hamfist lovable into every irrelevant list of companies he can think of but leaves it out of this one
The dependence of Cursor, Windsurf, Replit and others on Anthropic has never been greater. So the core question is: Will foundation models developer product commoditise (removes Anthropic leverage) before Anthropic turn it off for all and crush them with Claude Code.
everyone on the street in new york at 5:41am is wearing black athleisure
having claude write out my analysis on the windsurf situation -

the last company that did this was @Neeva
the new @perplexity_ai APM program looks insane. $210k base comp for what is traditionally a "new-grad" type of role?? who's gonna get it!!!
was an early bolt user - and it was mindblowing at the time but the ongoing marketing investment of this type is starting to feel more and more ethereal-hacker-house-like maybe prior gen prosumer products were the same, but i can’t think of any?
This is gonna be nuts
just locked down 2 pilots in one week w/ 2 of the top 10 PE firms to deploy data agents -- we're built on anthropic can anyone intro me to linkedin.com/in/jonathan-pe… [head of fin serve at anthropic]?
it’s honesty incredible to see like, teams with insane specializations come out of nowhere to give the big labs a run for their money
opencode will soon be #1 in most open github issues of any ai coding tool congrats team + community
while i was in hawaii i probably set up claude code to make >1M mcp server calls, went through a dozen+ mcp servers and wanted to die several times early thoughts + breakdown coming soon

execution environments designed for agents to process big data wen?
I was really bullish on execution environments for AI when we first built Sandboxes more than 2 years ago. Still had no idea how quickly companies like @lovable_dev would take off. This is just the beginning.
i've given claude code an mcp server to test my slackbot, railway deploy instructions, my credit card, and the instruction to keep fixiingit until it gets better and sleep to get the response back, and its currently in minute 12 of continuous task completion

based
citadels law: any industry with sufficiently high stakes will end up mirroring the culture of hedge funds massive cash comp for the top performers, bid away dynamics where entire teams walk together, extreme litigation of non competes, hardo work 24/7 culture, short tenures
