David D (NYC-DSA) says: “Christian has built DSA at the local, national, & worldwide levels; from his Long Island DSA chapter to International Committee. We need Christian's balance of global perspective and domestic activism on the NPC and to unite the masses for socialism.”
We’re excited to introduce Christian A for NPC, Co-Chair of DSA’s IC Americas group. Over the last five years he’s helped build relationships with parties like PT and Morena, and recently co-drafted the charter and launched the International Migrants Rights Working Group.
On Friday August 1st we’re raising money for 2 @NorthNJDSA candidates for Jersey City Council, @jake_ephros and @JoelBrooks4JC !
Another socialist has joined our slate! DSA is proud to endorse Willie Burnley Jr. for Somerville Mayor. On council Willie has been a fighter for working class issues. As mayor he’ll champion housing for all, public transit, and more! 🏘️🚍🌹 Support Willie and our slate ⬇️
There has been talk about how adding seats to the npc is the only major reform within the demcom package, and I wanted to explain how, actually, all the non c/b planks are actually the most radical parts of the package.
We're continuing to introduce each member of our NPC slate! Last week you met Jeremy Cohan, Leslie Chang, Clayton Ryles, Katie Sims, and Seth Woody. Each of these candidates helped co-author our platform resolutions, which you can read on our site. socialistmajority.com/2025-platform
OTOH do you really need an autopsy to figure out that running the 81-year old, who half the party assumed was going to retire after one term, was a mistake? The oldest Dem on the long 2028 list is Rahm, who’s 17 years younger than Biden.
Let me get this straight...the DNC is doing an "audit" of 2024 that: - Doesn't focus on the presidential - Doesn't "second-[guess] campaign tactics or decisions of campaign operatives" - Doesn't look at Biden's decision to run Deeply unserious nytimes.com/2025/07/19/us/…
We want to introduce Katie S for NPC, Ithaca’s Electoral Committee Chair since 2023 and an absolutely essential member of the NEC Steering Committee since 2024. They've coordinated 3 local field campaigns to get socialists elected, including Jorge Defendini's recent re-election.
I enjoyed @micgrochowski piece on the great contributions that @DemSocialists staff make - often unseen - to make the organization work! democraticleft.dsausa.org/2025/07/16/dsa…
We’re excited to introduce Seth W for NPC, who has been leading at the nexus of movement building and electoral politics for over a decade. Most recently, they were the Organizing and Field Director for Uncommitted and also organized in Asheville in the wake of the 2024 floods.
New from The Agitator—NPC candidate @CEAraos and @dsa_intl_comm SC member @silverman_jana examine the IC's history and pitfalls a statement-oriented approach to internationalism. They suggest a focus on work, not words, can offer an effective path forward. Link below:
DSA joins @DSAEastBay in mourning the passing of member Dan Siegel. Dan was a cofounder of New American Movement, which later merged with DSOC to become DSA. Thank you for everything, Dan. berkeleyside.org/2025/07/04/dan…
We're excited to introduce Leslie C for NPC, a founding member and leader of DSA-LA's Eastside Branch. She is currently at the forefront of fighting ICE in LA: giving know your rights presentations, supporting campaign development, and building coalitions with community groups.
