"What's your X strategy?" It's simple: I post about the things that are interesting to me (marketing, entrepreneurship, growth & software) and format them in a way that is easy on the eyes. Oh. And I talk to people. It's called "social" media for a reason.
Doing what you said you’re going to do is honestly one of the simplest ways to go far in life.
Freelance advice for 20 year old me: Don’t take on projects you hate Only work with people you trust Stay firm on your rates Create more content Raise your prices Drink more water Get on a plane Follow up
The ambitions and mindset of the people you work with will influence yours. Do everything you can to be surrounded by people who have skills you want, a desire for growth and a long term vision. The wrong people will set you back. The right people will change your trajectory.
It’s a shame so many brands have invested hundreds of thousands into content so far this year but won’t give their content any type of distribution…
Build your network before you need it. So many people only tap out looking for favors when they need something. Dont be that person. Support your team in advance. Help people before they can help you. Lend a hand without expectations.
Career Advice: Speak up. Stop playing it safe with your ideas. Stop assuming everyone else knows what you know. Stop thinking your perspective isn't going to add to the dialog. Speak up.
You’ve gotta be comfortable taking Ls alone. You’ve gotta be comfortable celebrating alone. You’ve gotta be comfortable putting in the work alone. Once you’re comfortable with the above — self love comes easy. You become proud of you. And that’s the secret.
Brand excellence is underrated in B2B marketing. I get it. We love traffic. We love SQLs. We love MQLs. We love demos. We love sign ups. We love sales. But don't ignore the fact that a strong brand makes generating all of the above 10x easier.
What's the most impactful piece of career advice you've ever been given?
What's one thing you wish you could tell your younger self?
Remember: A lot of the career advice on LinkedIn comes from people who had their parents wire them money every month while they found themselves. Not that anything’s wrong with that. But if they’re telling you not to hustle. Keep in mind: It’s possible they didn’t have to.
How to optimize your evergreen content to drive organic traffic and backlinks for years to come (even with the rise of AI mode):

Most of the experts on here who hate on beginner, inspirational or self-help advice / content are suffering from hindsight bias. Never forget where you started. You need the fundamentals to eventually achieve industry excellence.
The biggest issue in SEO is that there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of “pro SEOs” selling this idea that there’s a magical way to win at search by just doing one or two things...
🚨 Reddit OWNs the bottom of funnel 🚨 Marketers: Keep ignoring the king of commercial and transactional intent… You’ll regret it in a few months…

People ask me how many blog posts should they should be publishing a month... That's the wrong question. My advice: Don't set out to write a certain # of posts. Take a look at your situation, identify content goals and create content you think could have the biggest impact.
Tough pill to swallow... You have to be comfortable walking away from projects that pay well but don’t serve your vision / goals.
