In 2018 before my SOPH. Yr of HS I went on a team camp trip to AZ and we played Desert Vista HS At one point, I (5’8 at the time) got switched onto Oso Ighodaro (Suns big man) who was 6’8 at the time He laughed at me and did a spin move and dunked on my teammate. We were 15

I hate that Deni avdija is an IDF demon because he’s a really good player and like, my favorite kind of non-star basketball player
I ended up committing to a d3 college last minute after HS bc I had significant injuries that lost all my other offers I was supposed to be one of the top incoming freshmen. When I got on campus, I found out they recruited 30(yes THIRTY) other freshmen for the basketball team

When you realize this demon is JUST now 21 years old and still growing into his frame after reportedly getting an inch or so taller since being drafted Happy Birthday to the player with one of, imo, the highest ceilings in Washington, Bilal Coulibaly
RT to wish @Bilaal_6 a happy birthday 🥳
Every clip there is literally no reason to reverse dunk he's doing it for the love of the game 😭
Jay Huff '24-25 reverse dunks
Soft launched on IG and ik at least 6 people are unhappy about it

College is essentially a walkable city with good infrastructure, full of civilians working toward self-betterment. There's still a respect for expertise and facts, as well as community and forgiveness. Leaving that is tough.
I think college ruined my perception of community in real adult world because the way i yearn for something that kind of only exist when you live on campus..
The issue is that most basketball fans don’t actually like basketball. They don’t have the attention span nor do they enjoy it enough to sit and watch full games. Most fans are just in it for the online tribalism and getting to argue about something.
90% of basketball fans aren’t very smart and also don’t know basketball very well. They’re casuals and there for entertainment and that’s totally fine until they try to talk basketball in any way shape or form
“I just think it isn’t fair, because my son hasn’t done anything, other than be born to me, to earn that money.” Your job as a parent is to provide your kid with every unfair advantage you can. Each generation of parents throughout history has understood this. Until the Boomers.
