The Afiya Center is an advocacy organization dedicated to transforming the lives of Black Women and Girls through Reproductive Justice.
The Trump Administration is considering severely cutting and possibly eliminating HIV programs and funding at the CDC. We will not be silent while this Administration breaks the law to cut the nation’s effective and cost-efficient HIV response.

Today, my team met with some of the amazing folks from @TheAfiyaCenter. They shared some of their legislative priorities and discussed ways we can increase access to equitable and comprehensive healthcare as well as improve economic stability in our communities. #txlege #HD100
