Latest stuff from me - the good peeps over at @hyperallergic asked me to review the Wallace Collection's exhibition about the life of Maharajah Ranjit Singh and the cosmopolitan syncretism of the Sikh Empire he founded at the turn of the 19th Century: hyperallergic.com/952911/the-las…
The signs from Assam all indicate an impending mass ethnic cleansing - from the statements of the CM to the social media posts. And every single institution that is supposed to prevent this is either helpless or unwilling to act.
আপাদমস্তক আত্মসম্মান-বিহীন একটি জাতি। Meanwhile an actual ethnic cleansing similar to the one in 70s and 80s is imminent in Assam. This is what happens when people think of history only in terms of religion and forget that violence and ethnic cleansing can take other forms too.
As Elon censored my account due to my content on Palestine. I wonder if I said hello how many people would say it back? Let’s try it... Hello everyone!
It's time to say it. Doctors and healthcare workers who support 'israel' are complicit in crimes against humanity. For the safety of children and the public—they must be investigated. Comment 'YES' if you agree and share before this is silenced.
The New York Times is complicit in Israel's genocide and should be tried for such at the Hague. Suddenly realised you can, you know, actually do your fucking job and verify Israeli claims doesn't change the volumes of hasbara propaganda you've printed as fact
Breaking News: Israeli military officials say they have no proof Hamas routinely steals UN aid, undercutting a claim Israel has used to limit food for Gaza. nyti.ms/4opoK4n
Sorry this whole “oopsie we actually don’t have evidence of Hamas stealing aid” is clear as day evidence of genocidal intent
The BBC has been the chief propaganda arm of the Israeli settler colonial state since October 7th. Its wretched anchors continue to regurgitate hasbara propaganda in service of whitewashing Israel's genocide in Gaza. This is less than worthless; it is disgusting hypocrisy
A joint statement on Gaza from AFP, AP, BBC News and Reuters
Why does it have to come down to the NYT saying “okay Israel lied” for the earth to tilt? Israelis have lied since Oct 8 about their crimes, the NYT repeated those lies with “Israel says” so why is the onus still on them? Fuck them. Listen to Palestinians
The reason westerners repeat that it’s ‘antisemitic’ to accuse Israel of genocide is that Israel IS the west, a post-Shoah west where to be western is to be the victim of one’s victims, the underdog in an anticolonial world. Criticising Israel is ‘anti-white racism’ to them.
I hope people like you never see a day of peace. This is a pod save America guy, former Obama. These people are asking us to “build a bigger coalition” over the starved, maimed, slaughtered bodies of Palestinians they didn’t give a fuck about for two years - and they still don’t.
Tweeting "I told you so" at people who change their mind about what's happening in Gaza does nothing to help the kids who are being starved to death. Welcome people into the tent. Build a bigger coalition and use it to force political change.
🇫🇷 - I will offer full commentary on France's recognition of the State of Palestine when France recognises the State of Palestine. Meanwhile, this is a good opportunity to kindly remind France and other states: 1. of their non-derogable obligation to realise the inalienable…
Francesca Albanese sur la reconnaissance de l’état de Palestine annoncée par Macron
Shame on all of you who were silent. Speak now but if you want redemption, say why you were silent. Speak the truth or forever be haunted
It shouldn’t have taken this for more people to speak out. We should never have gotten here.
insane that israel can claim whatever it wants with no evidence and the world accepts it as fact until it gets debunked months later, meanwhile palestinians livestream a genocide in front of our faces and after two years we debate its merit

It has been maddening. Screaming into the void the past 20 months and being gas lit everyday by every mainstream institution in this country has broken me in ways I didn’t think possible.

Genocide deniers should not, and will not, be allowed to use the movement to rebrand themselves. We're talking about the gravest crime one can do here - a genuine stain on the soul of humanity - not a borderline bad take on some pop culture frivolity

It actually does help the people of Gaza. Because these are the same people who will revert to the status quo ante as soon as the horrific conditions marginally improve and leave the headlines. They’re not changing their minds because Palestinians are being oppressed—but because…

Last night, IDF claimed it’ll take measures to address hunger in Gaza This morning, the IDF murdered 24 Gazans after luring them with a promise of food then gunning them down!
"Israel has the right to self-defense, but this has gone too far." FALSE. Israel does not have "the right to self-defence" over occupied territory. The right to self-defence that these monsters talk about does not even exist in international law.
Israeli historian and genocide scholar Raz Segal told us on October 13, 2023 Gaza was a textbook case of genocide. If you aided and defended it for 22 months, it doesn’t matter what you say now, you’re complicit. You can’t say you didn’t know, and the rest of us will not forget.
