Victoria B. George, Esq.
@ThatJurorLawyer
Mom of four under five, lawyer, jury consultant, and fan of Oxford commas. Also commonly referred to as the crying pregnant alternate juror in a pink dress.
It turns out I’m fascinated by juries. I have served on three and deliberated twice. Those experiences, combined with my training as a lawyer, interest in psychology, and real-world jury selection work, have given me a unique perspective. Eventually, I plan to launch a jury…
Lots of trolls seem very concerned that I’m missing, so just popping in to say hi! Also, I have four kids under the age of five so, sometimes it is harder to get online than other times. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk!
More dangerous “legal” commentary from Wendy Murphy. The 5th Amendment is a constitutional right - invoking it has nothing to do with guilt. A lawyer should know better than to suggest otherwise. Perhaps she’s aiming to become Dean of the Twitter School of Law. @Bederowlaw
#KarenRead asserted her 5th Am rights w/minutes of cops arriving to take her statement the day she killed John O’Keefe. Nobody else EVER took the 5th. She clammed up bc she’s guilty. Anyone (except a juror) who doesn’t presume guilt when someone takes the 5th is an idiot
Tough week for Astronomer’s employment counsel. On the bright side, at least they can count on principled C-level executives and ethical HR leadership to steady the ship. Oh, wait…
You and your fellow jurors are heroes, Paula. I have been trying cases for 35 years, so I have some perspective here. I have never seen a more attentive or more conscientious jury. The haters are gonna hate, pay them no mind. They are beneath you. Thank you for your…

CONFIRMED: Sergeant Yuri Bukhenik booted from the Norfolk County DA’s Office Sunday to the Division of Field Services at the South Boston barracks. This follows Detective Lieutenant Brian Tully’s transfer out last November. State Police did not immediately explain the decision…
As we head into Fourth of July weekend, a casual reminder that the founding fathers specifically mentioned jury trials in the Declaration of Independence because they saw them as a safeguard against abuses of power by the government. Some here seem to have lost sight of that…

“She’s not that significant” is a bold take from someone who sat down and wrote a paragraph about me. Just saying.
I don't believe Victoria is as significant as she thinks she is. I honestly don't believe John gives a shit about Victoria either; she was there for a few days as a lawyer in the second trial and didn't deliberate as a juror in the first.
Agree to agree, @Lawferio.
Bryan Kohberger is a piece of shit. #Idaho4
[Insert joke about trash and Canton here]
HAPPENING NOW: Hundreds of trash and recycling workers are on strike, possibly disrupting waste collection in more than a dozen Massachusetts communities ahead of the Fourth of July. boston25news.com/news/local/tra…
A glimpse into my weekend with our four tiny children while my husband was at Army drill.
“Inside the Box” was the frontrunner this AM, but it had some innuendo issues (which many of you pointed out). So I did what any good jury consultant would do: I reframed the narrative. Meet: By George Jury Consulting Tagline: “Thinking Inside the Box.” Still clever. Now safe…
You all had such great name ideas for my jury consulting business yesterday—I thought I’d throw up a poll with a few favorites to help narrow it down. NOTE: I loved the “Juror 13” ideas, but won’t be using those out of respect for @BrandiNChurch.
