Once implemented, LTNs, school streets & safe bike lanes are popular Councils follow orders from the electorate who put them there based on their manifestos Not all ppl with disabilities move around using private cars. The Telegraph’s a rag. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
You know the era of car supremacy is over when The Telegraph is championing the removal of motor vehicles from central London
Thoughts and prayers with @JoannaBiddolph and @johnjohnstewart who have to cope with the news today that The Telegraph’s number one recommendation for improving London is to pedestrianise the whole of the west end. 😊
Everybody in their ordinary clothes, just getting to places they need to be. 😎 Love this @Streetfilms clip
This is maddening! For £3,750 the government could buy them a very decent e-bike, capable of replacing the majority of car trips. bbc.com/news/articles/…
New research finding: 'Seeing a dinosaur cycling by, makes everybody at least 17% happier' —@LucasReinds, 🦖+🚲=😁
People would be much healthier if they spent at least an hour walking per day. Neighborhoods should be designed to accommodate that.
“There is nothing left to debate: Low Traffic Neighbourhoods Work” If LTN supporters are pro-life what does that make their opponents? standard.co.uk/comment/ltns-c…
🥳"One" Ealing have FAILED to stop a primary school getting a school street 👍Despite a conspiracy campaign, the people of Ealing decided protecting children is a Good Thing 😡So now they're campaigning to stop ANY schools having a school street (See also SUDs, bike lanes etc)
I expect they will react very well to this setback. Oh …… They’ve decided to launch a campaign for a blanket ban on all school streets instead. Well that makes them really sympathetic.
Ealing has recorded over 2,300 car crashes over the past year, making it the London borough with the fifth highest number of road traffic collisions, according to newly released data from @metpoliceuk ealing.news/news/ealing-am…
How it started.... how it's going. Rumour has it One Ealing's fact-free leaflet inspired the community to vote FOR the Fielding School Street. Well done, Real Ealing❤️

Out in Southall Broadway Ward this evening to meet residents and listen to feedback about @EalingCouncil campaign #ThisIsOurHomeNotATip Lots of positive feedback from residents ⬆️ max £1,000 FPN/fine ⬆️ June: 275 FPN/fines issued ⬆️ stage 2 about to launch 🚀

Labour's Planning & Infrastructure bill is a danger for wildlife!
