In Toronto, I met up with Doug Ball, one of Canada's great press photographers. We exchanged books. Doug took the great photos of Robert Stanfield dropping the football, Pierre Trudeau pirouetting in front of the Queen and, ny favourite, the last pitch thrown at Parc Jarry in 76.



At the Windmill Heights Golf Course along with Rick Moffat and Mike Farber, helping to raise money for the Sian Bradwell Fund of the Montreal Children's Hospital. I don't play the game. So the participants got a kick out this self-portrait of me attempting to sink a golf ball.

Yesterday, we visited Ottawa where I presented two more skull rings to Graeme MacKay of the Hamilton Spectator and Guy Badeaux (Bado) of Le Droit, for exceptional contributions to the world of cartooning during their careers. The skulls represent the editors we have survived.
