This is nothing short of a fucking disaster. They want to send the sport into disarray and splinter it like MMA where champions don’t fight each other and the promotion enforces monopoly-like advantages over fighters. Another reason to hate Dana White and Trump.
The Ali Act as currently constituted doesn’t allow for championships to be awarded by any entity other than the sanctioning bodies so this would allow, in theory, TKO or any other entity to enter boxing with its own system.
It’s so funny seeing rivals celebrate spending hundreds of millions after all the crying they did about Chelsea. As I said ages ago, it was just jealousy because their clubs weren’t spending.

Came across a video today from 12 months ago that had been edited, so comments around Chelsea’s spending taken slightly out of context! It was about 35 signings in over two years, not one window. Probably over 40 now!! Also told you all months ago LFC needed 6/7 players 😉
If you know the risks then why are you not pushing to expand the rights to MMA athletes instead of punching a hole through the Ali Act to help promoters line their pockets???

They don’t want to “fix” boxing. They want to *own* it and they’re using the present orgy of deregulation to do it. They might destroy some of the parts you don’t like, but they’ll also destroy the parts important for its long-term vitality and athlete protection.

The Ali Act was intended to protect fighters, this strips them of protection. But expected with the current sitting president being Dana white bestfriend and a corrupt piece of shit.

Boxers compete for titles. Promoters compete for boxers. If promoters own and control titles then boxers can be exploited by promoters.
