A triple play of Greg Anderson’s THE LORD, featuring “Forest Nocturne,” “Devotional” (with the amazing Petra Haden), and “Worship: Bernard Herrmann Tribute,” which - as a massive Bernie Herrmann fan - is the album I never thought I’d hear but now simply cannot live without.

Svengooli with the cub, Bela, and Boris. Contrary to the film’s title, Edgar wasn’t present, as nothing of his work was included, unethical marketing notwithstanding. #Svengoolie @Svengoolie

Happiest Birthday wishes to this planet's - and probably several others' - greatest living Horror writer. Reminded me of that time, so long ago now, when I used to run a blog (I was so full of enthusiasm back then, silly me), and interviewed Thomas for The Cosmicomicon.

#WIP - An excerpt from my novel "MonoChrome," which is an expansion of the short story of the same title previously published in the anthology Court of the Yellow King (Celaeno Press, 2014). While dwelling in darkness, I may as well build something useful.

Happy Juneteenth! So much work left to be done, but the fact that we celebrate this day, so drenched in blood and pain and horror, on federal level gives me a glint of hope.

Cannot wait to see my pal @limeybastard55 at the Shock-A-Go-Go Film Fest in Beverly Hills tomorrow, as well as the other amazing films and filmmakers. Come on out and get weird with us. We have such sights to show you... shockagogo.com

Fish and I took in our first Dodgers game yesterday. Our team lost, but I most certainly won. No extra innings needed. It was a trouncing.

I needed a new pair of kicks, and being an Adidas guy, I went to the company website to find replacement pairs of the particular style I like. After just a few minutes of searching, lo and behold: The freshness from a galaxy far, far away.... #StarWars #adidasmakesstarwarsshoes

I was treated to a screening of SINNERS in Westwood by two amazing girls. Overall, I found the film to be a triumph for the genre, fusing the naturally connective tissue of Horror, Southern history, the Blues, Bluegrass, Hoodoo, and race, and the tension between all of it.
