Lush first surf of the year, sat down on the beach with my picnic and got a phone call offering me a place on the Clinical Doctorate at Bath 😭😭😭 absolutely over the moon to have a place, and to spend another 3 years with Bath 🥳🥳🥳
Post is now out for an Assistant Psychologist in my team! See ad below 🥳 careers.activecaregroup.co.uk/Job/JobDetail?…
Advanced notice - we’re advertising for an ✨Assistant Psychologist✨ in my current team, ad out in the next week or so. Ideal for anyone interested in neuropsych, specifically inpatient brain injury neurorehab, in Bristol! Keep an eye out on NHS Jobs. Please share!

There are worst spots to find out I’m officially a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist! Holiday first before starting the new job on Monday 🥳

I don’t think I’ll ever learn to spell the word ‘haemorrhage’ without autocorrect, despite writing it in my notes at least weekly.
Turns out there’s more to organising a conference than we thought! Incredibly proud of my cohort presenting their research yesterday and thankful for the rest of the committee I had the pleasure of sharing the planning with. Was lovely to see our work and ideas come to life 🥳☺️

First of two neuro elective placements done, and I’m already sure I made the right choice with neuropsychology! Community neuro rehab done, next up inpatient/outpatient brain injury team for my last doctorate placement 🧠
My folder is a metaphor for March of final year of the doctorate, sellotaped together, but still holding on in there x

Productive (busy) week finishing second draft of literature review and finishing my 5th and final DClin case study (neuropsych assessment and neurorehab). Annual leave mode well and truly activated.
Appreciative of an impromptu study day today (cancelled teaching) after surprise finding a deadline in my diary for tomorrow. A deadline I set myself 🙃😂 final year DClin weeks just flying by

Booking trips on all my annual leave to make sure I don’t work will either be the best or worst decision I make on the run up to thesis hand in 🥲
