On Friday, May 30, Lake Tahoe watercraft inspectors identified highly invasive golden mussels on a vessel at the Alpine Meadows inspection station. This is the first interception of the new invasive species by Lake Tahoe watercraft inspectors. Read more: trpa.gov/lake-tahoe-ins…
Meyers, Spooner, and Alpine inspection stations are now operating summer hours! Stations are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.🌊 Please note, decontaminations are mandatory and take time. Boaters are encouraged to make an appointment or arrive early for walk-ins.
Boaters needing an inspection and decontamination around busy holidays and weekends may experience long walk-in wait times. Arrive prepared with all boating related equipment, like keys, PFDs, and ballast bags, but kindly leave the kids and pets at home.
