I guess there was a reason why top clubs around Europe stayed away from Osimhen. The financial stipulations around getting this deal done was borderline insane. Make the entire payment within 1 year, 10% future profit and goal bonuses. Not to mention the wages on top of that!!

This totally makes sense. Mamadou Sarr most likely wasn't going to crack into the 1st team at Chelsea. This way he continues to develop and consequently his value increases. Sure it takes up a loan spot but don't worry plenty of loan spots are being opened up as well.
