一つ前の投稿で挙げた、私が育てているつもりのCalcidiscus leptoporusとはコレのことです。でも倒立では細かい構造が見えない上に円石の奇形も酷く、株の同定は現時点では？です。 なお、このSEM写真のC. leptoporusは、約2200万年前に出現した、熱帯〜温帯の比較的富栄養な環境に分布する種です。

TMS AGM 2024 We had our first round of scientific sessions yesterday! Also, TMS' Special Publication Editor Maria Rose Petrizzo received the Grzybowski award for her outstanding contributions to micropalaeontological science. Congratulations Maria!

Consider submitting a manuscript to the Journal of Nannoplankton Research - the JNR is open to any nannoplankton/nannofossil-related research, including biostratigraphy, taxonomy, climate, ecology etc.
